T is for Trumpet Vine

and ABC Wednesday Anthology
have advanced to the letter T.

Trumpet vines can cover a fence

or climb twenty-five feet up a tree

or the vine itself can slyly creep across the stairs.
(No! Those little white flowers do not belong to the trumpet vine!)

Portrait of trumpet blossoms.

Love the bright orange of the trumpet vine. I didn't know they could climb so high. Perfect choice for the letter T.

That's the prettiest, healthiest trumpet vine ever. Beautiful "T" entry.

Hello, Granny Smith. I hope you had a lovely Thanksgiving. Your beautiful pictures suit you to a "T". And I have tagged you or invited you to share in a bookworm challenge. Come and see!

What a beautiful plant. Just what I needed to see to brighten up a horribly cold day.

Do you know the old saying about blowing ones own trumpet? I don't think I've managed to get on to ABC Wed this time. Mr Linky seems erratic.

Something new learned today. Hadn't a clue what these pretties were called.

Wow! Loved the brightness these lovely fellas brought to such a dull grey day!

I read with interest your sonnet for JFK, I had tears in my eyes. The salute his young son made as the coffin rode past still brings tears to my eyes.

Wonderful pictures !
I think that the french translation is "Bignonia"
This plant is common and rather orange in the south of France.

I don't think that is one we have here, so thank you for sharing!

These are beautiful vines indeed. I planted one this year, but it didn't come up. I've seen many of them in other gardens, though, and you're right that they can grow to amazing sizes. Lovely T post!

How beautiful! I suppose it might sometimes be considered a pest, but it looks so cheerful and bright.

On behalf of the ABC team, thank you for participating this week.

Hello again. I see you also have an interest in fimo. I do too. Jewellery making and gardening are two of my favourite hobbies. Seems like we must be quite alike! I have tried to find some more of your fimo jewellery on this blog but have not had any luck. Could you point me to the correct place? Maybe you have another page, couls you provide me with the link as I'm always looking for inspiration. Thankyou x
