C is for Colorful Produce.

C links to other participating blogs at
Mrs. Nesbitt's ABC Wednesday Round 4.

... or perhaps I should say produce of unexpected colors.

Grandson Byron, who is currently staying with us, brought home these bright vegetables (among many others) from the Monterey Market, and I couldn't resist taking photos of these few. Purple Cauliflower?

I have never seen purple cauliflower. I love to use brightly colored peppers in dishes that call for green peppers. Really brightens up a dish

These look very nice. Great colours. This is my first visit to your blog and at first I thought Queen Elizabeth started a blog under the name of Granny Smith. But you must have heard that before. Or are you really....?

I've never seen purple cauliflower! Was it 'born' that way or has it been dyed?

Oh, how nice to have a visitor. When I was in college, I spent one semester living with my Grandma in Clarion Pa. It was one of the best times of my life. I loved my Grandma so much!

Purple cauliflower is interesting. You have the coolest things in California.
