Z is for Zebra

Mrs. Nesbitt's ABC Wednesday round 3 has reached the end of that round. Round 4 will start next week. See ABC Wednesday Anthology for a sampling of Z wares.

and the zebra-loving boy, Jon, my great-grandson who is perhaps dreaming at left of one of the zebras who have poked their striped noses into the family car on zebra-watching expeditions (in Texas parks). Note his toy zebra and his zebra-striped pajamas, seen below as he helps his mother, Josie Andersen (the photographer who is responsible for these pictures) decorate cookies.

Jon's father Charlie painted the new family camping trailer in zebra stripes.

I just love zebras too! Not, however, to the point of wanting stripey pyjamas and painting the car to look like one!
Love your photos..... really unique!

My contribution is Zebra too! I suppose it's what we all learned in kindergarten! Your zebra pictures are unique, though.

Granny Smith! This is the perfect way to use the letter Z. All your photos are dedicated to the zebra in a splendid way. The photos are so great and some of them are very funny, like the trailer. Thanks!

Lovely pictures. We used to have tens of thousands of zebras here in the UK. Crossing points on busy roads were marked by a path of black and white stripes, known as zebra crossings, where traffic had to stop when someone stepped on them.
Many of them have been replaced now by lights.

You've got a lot photos for black and white stripes here.. Just perfect for a Z! The one where the zebra is sticking its nose on the car window is so cute! This Zebra would be a nice addition to my zoo animals.

I'm seeing stripes! what a fun post, Phyllis. Love zebras (do you say zee-bra or zeb-ra?) but when I found out some people in Africa eat them. . .well, you know. . .
Thanks for visiting me in my current state--made my day!
